If you have met the below error message which says “Nox has to reboot for some reason” in NoxPlayer, please try the solutions in this post one by one to solve it:
Solution 1: check if you have installed the latest version of NoxPlayer. Double check our official website: https://www.bignox.com/ to see if there’s a new version. If yes, download and install the most up to date version. If this does not fix the problem, move on to Solution 2 below.
Solution 2: open Nox multi-instance manager. Click the Settings gear and change between the two different graphics rendering mode >> Save and start Nox to see if it works. Please make sure to try both Compatible (OpenGL) and Speed (DirectX) mode.
Solution 3: upgrade or roll back your graphics driver version to find a compatible version that works with NoxPlayer.

Synchronize multiplayer operations means, that after we turn on this feature, all your operations in one instance, including typing, will be synchronized to the other instances you have opened and started.
P.S Make sure the instance resolution is consistent, do not drag the outer edge to change the size of the instance, insance resolution can be passed the upper right corner of the Settings – Advanced Settings – Startup Settings to adjust.

On this Multi-drive management panel we can see and operate all of our instances. The following picture is all interfaces of the multiplayer, below the picture is the explanation of the each functions.
1.Batch operation
First, please select the instances you want to operate, click batch operation and then select “start”, “close” or “delete”.
There are “new (3)”, “copy (3)”, after clicking it will corresponding create new 3 or copy 3 instances. For copying the particular one, just choose the instance you want to copy. If still do not understand, please read the following “2. Multi-instance Settings.”
P.S If you only want to add instance, please click on the button “add emulator”. If still do not understand, please pull down this tutorial page to the 11. Add emulator.
2.Multi-instance Settings
The higher number of frames will provide the better performance, but also uses more computer resources. If you only need to open more instances and do not need high performance, it can be lowered.
Sound will affect the computer CPU consumption, we suggest to turn off the sound, simply remove the mark to turn off the sound.
Batch operation are adjusted above the “new (3)”, “copy (3)” , for example if change it to 5, then in batch operation it will be changed to “Create new(5)”, “Copy(5)”.
P.S Please do not forget to save all your settings.
3.Multi-instance Arrange
Here you can arrange already opened instances through the “grid view” or “diagonal view” on your PC. If you think the grid view is not fill the screen on your PC, you can click on the “Re-size window for fill the screen”. If you think the diagonal view make you feel uncomfortable, you can fill the window size you want to adjust.
Diagonal view has a “window size” function. Modify the corresponding size, check the window to adjust the size, after clicking all instances will be stretched to the same size, but with the same resolution. If you want to adjust the resolution of each instances to be consistent, click the settings button of the instance you want to adjust and choose the resolution.

4. Search
This function is generally for the users who have many instances, search for the instance you want to find by the name, and then click on “magnifying glass” button to search.
5. Start
Click the start button to start the corresponding instance, if instance is already on, this position becomes to a square “close” button. At the same time if the current instance is in the activated state, it is impossible to create a shortcut, change system settings, delete, cleanup disk space, back up/import, as shown below:
6. Create shortcut
After installing NoxPlayer, on the desktop will be icons of Nox and Multi-Drive, but if you want to open a particular instance then you can use this function.
For example, if you click on the NoxPlayer 2 to create shortcuts, then a shortcut to the NoxPlayer 2 icon will appear on the desktop.
7. System Settings
In this function you can adjust the performance settings, startup settings, graphics rendering mode, virtual button location, frame settings etc.
8. Delete
Click on this button and you can delete instance (click this button will delete instance and all your data. Please remember, your own data must be backed up. Back up/import button will help you to save all applications and games locally).
9. Clean up disk space (will be added in the next version)
Click on this button, so you can clean up the part of the useless cache file.
10. Back up/Import
Click on this button, so you can start to backup or import operation.
11. Add emulator
Here you can create a whole new instance, copy particular one or create a new Android 5.1.1 version(Android 5.1.1 version is still under test, please kindly stay tuned).
Add new / copy emulator picture bellow, wait for unlocking to 100% and start to use.
In fact, how many instances you can open it is up to your PC configuration, if the configuration is not good enough may be some issue happen, suggest that you decision should based on the actual situation of your PC.

The rise of Battle Royale games like Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds has extended to mobile games such as NetEase Game’s three clones called Rules of Survival, Knives Out and Survivor Royale. These mobile battle royale games share a lot of the characteristics of PUBG such as a huge island map, various vehicles and weapons and the ultimate goal of being the last one standing.
NoxPlayer exclusively support all mobile battle royale games. You could play them on PC using keyboard and mouse just as a PC game for free! In this post we will guide you through the basics of playing Rules of Survival on PC using Keyboard.
These games could be played in NoxPlayer 6.0.0.0 and above versions. If you don’t have the latest version, go to our website to download and install it first.
Rules of Survival is a bit heavy. To have the smoothest gaming experience, please make sure to allocate 3-4G memory to Nox and make sure you still have another 3-4G left for your computer.
So first thing after download and install NoxPlayer, go to System Settings >> Advanced and make sure you have:
CPU: 2,
Memory: 2048M,
Resolution: 1280*720,
Graphics rendering mode: both OpenGL/DirectX are fine,
FPS: 60
Then open Google Play and download Rules of Survival. Go through the below settings one by one to enjoy playing it as a PC game:
2. Go to game Settings >> Operation, change Vehicle Control preference to Comfort Mode. This mode works better on Android emulator. As for the sensitivity settings on the left, you could set to your own preference.
3. Let’s move to Advanced in Settings now. Turn off 3DTouch and choose the Advanced Mode.
4. Enter the game and click Keyboard control on the right side tool bar, close it and click it again. Choose Rules of Survival from the drop-down menu then you will have the default keyboard controls ready to use! Make sure to config this before you start matching. (Note: the default setting is only available in NoxPlayer 5.2.1.0 and above versions).
5. Some tips on Keyboard control
Familiarize yourself with these settings before you jump into the game. Of course, you could change the default key to your own preference. You could also change the transparency on the Keyboard control panel. Make sure to save your changes for them to take effect.
6. Now let’s Match! Once enter the game, DO NOT right click your mouse. Click parachute and adjust your landing position using WASD. Once landed, right click then your view is locked. Your character could change view following the movement of your mouse, just as in PC games such as CrossFire.

Note: though this game is less memory consuming as PC games, it still has some requriements on your computer specifications. If you experience laggy in this game and was popped the below notice, then you should consider adding more memory for your PC. Also, click Cross in the below notice, otherwise, the game graphics will be reset to balance and you won’t be able to observe competitors from distance in this game.

before the 6.0.2.0 version of the NoxPlayer is “vmdk” from the 6.0.2.0 version(including 6.0.2.0), it will change to “npbk”.
In other words, the backup files before the 6.0.2.0 version can beimported into the 6.0.2.0 version,
but conversely, it can not import the backup file of the 6.0.2.0 version,

If you have met the below error message which says “Your graphics card is outdated, please update before use!” in NoxPlayer, please try the solutions in this post one by one to solve it:
Step 1.
First of all, please run the MultiPlayer and try to switch Graphics rendering mode (OpenGL, DX), then restart the emulator.
Recently due to the OpenGL graphics driver update caused some of the users encountered an Error ID:1005 during the game or running App. If an error occurs in the OpenGL mode, we recommend you try to switch to DX mode by referring to the picture below.
Step 2.
If you do not solve the problem, when you encounter the above error, please try to update the graphics card driver.
Is there a need to first remove the old graphics card driver?
The safest method is to first remove the old version of the graphics card driver from the console and reboot it again after removal.
However, if it is the same video card, for example, NVIDIA’s official website, it will automatically remove the old version and then install the new version before installation.
PS: If there is no problem with your computer, the graphics card driver can actually not be updated.
The OpenGL version is above than 2.0 (For checking if the video card supports OpenGL 2.0 or above, please download this tool: OpenGLChecker.exe)
If the graphics card driver version does not meet the minimum configuration requirements of the program, we recommend you to change the graphics card driver and try again.
